James studied at UWE in Bristol where he qualified as a BSc in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management on day release whilst working for the commercial contractor Stepnell Ltd. Working on large commercial projects such as St Johns care homes and Parkstone Yacht club James wanted to expend his knowledge and experience and move into residential Quantity Surveying.
